Well this is it!
Let's make a start on this blogging malarkey...
I love keeping a calendar of all our adventures we have done. I also love keeping it afterwards as a little keepsake. We have lots of albums of photos I have made over the last few years of the girls so that they can look back on all our holidays, days out and adventures together.
Yesterday (21st October 2022) we packed up the car with lots of snacks and our welly boots and we headed to our local Pumpkin Patch. We went very prepared for the rain as the sky was looking rather dark, somehow we didn't get wet though we dodged the rain in between games and the Cafe Tent.
We loved The Patch so much last year we also went to see the sunflowers this year back in July. They had some huge life size dinosaurs and all the beautiful wild flowers really were so so beautiful. They again had plenty of photo opportunities. It was amazing and our eldest daughter loved the water duck game too! Oh and not forgetting the sandpit!
We really do love The Patch MK - it's full of fun things to do and always a great couple of hours spent together as a family. We went exploring around the games first. We tried out the slides as well as the maze, then we headed out across the field to fill up our wheel barrow with Pumpkins. The stage with the broomstick to pose on we thought was a fantastic touch too as well as the little Pumpkin kiss stool. We took plenty of photos before heading back to the Cafe tent for coffee and cakes.
The Patch MK has so much to do - it's not just Pumpkin picking and its not just Sunflowers either! They have plenty of photo opportunities scattered around for the family. This year they had a target game with balls to throw to knock down the pumpkins and zombies and they also had a balancing bleeping game. It really is full of fun for all the family and it's even great fun in between the rain showers!
Before heading home we couldn't leave without having a go on the tractor ride. A tractor with blue barrels on the back going over the very bumpy fields. For only £2.50 a person we thought that this was fantastic. We had a go last year as well so we knew we had this to look forward to.
We were actually surprised to see so much improvement from last year's Patch. This was our 3rd year going and we really did have a blast!
We cannot wait to go back again next year 😃 this really will be our yearly tradition we will continue to do as a family. Both the Sunflowers and the Pumpkin picking too... We love it!
