Thrift Farm Milton Keynes

 It's Half Term! And it's Halloween!

We have started the half term week off with a bang!

We headed to our local farm today for the day with our friends (24th October 2022) We went to Thrift Farm for some fun, games, food && jumping 🎃 We had a blast! it was fantastic.

We started the day seeing all the animals and having a walk around. So much to see and look at ... including a huge Halloween Spider up in the tree. It was amazing.

We then headed to the big shed to feed the goats and the pigs. We had a walk around and stayed in there for a while it was lovely. The girls then enjoyed going on the little tractors and cars. They have a couple of different ones for different ages.

We started to feel hungry a little earlier than normal today so we all headed to the cafe about 11am before the crowds. The farm was certainly busy today it was brilliant to see so many family's. We couldn't wait to enjoy a hot coffee and some yummy cake. We ordered our chips, coffees and cakes in the beautiful new coffee shop and the service was brilliant. The staff were lovely and we sat and relaxed for a while as the babies had both fallen asleep. Once we finished our food we headed back to the farm to find the pumpkins.

My biggest girl loved the pumpkin picking and carving we spent ages in the tent carving our scary pumpkin. We took our time and we loved the mess. It was certainly good fun. We also made a beautiful wand to take home to put a spell on daddy lol Other activities were available too.

 

Once we finished the fun activities we headed to the play area where we spent nearly an hour playing on all the play equipment. The zip wire. The slide. The bouncing pillows. The swing. The tractor. The scary spider hunt and so much more 🕷️

We had a blast!

We then headed to feed the goats to finish off our animal feed before grabbing a coffee from the hut and heading home.

What a fun filled fantastic day we all had. Definitely a thumbs up from all of us that's for sure 👍 We all can't wait to go back at Christmas for the Christmas festivities 🎅 Check out their Instagram page and website for all the latest updates and what's going on ....
